Best Lesson on Religion

Today, i want to share a story that inspire me a lot. As, it has been seen from a long time that people of society (us) are fighting in the names of religion, caste, culture and many more. They use to distinguish us in name of religion and all. Even, they are creating violence in the name of god also.

But, the question is that - Do we know our religion? Do we know the actual definition of religion?

This little girl's story helped me to find out the answer. Her story teaches me that "Humanity is the biggest religion in this world". Hoping that this story will inspire many more.

Mariyam Asif Siddiqui, a 12-year-old Muslim girl, studying in class six from Mumbai, secured the first place in a Bhagwad Gita competition organised by the International Society for Krishna Consciousness (ISKCON).

She said that she learned from Bhagwad Gita that "Humanity is the biggest religion in this world". It was very interesting to read Bhagwad Gita as I have got a lot of information about life from it. The holy book has taught me the golden rules of life. It says that though there are many religions but humanity is the biggest religion among all.

She has proved that even younger can teach you best lesson of life. So, Spread love not violence.
